DRIVER E.D FAQ
1. How old do students have to be to take Drivers’ E.D.?
Students can take drivers’ E.D. at 15 years old. Department of Public Safety allows driving schools to teach students without permit if student is under 18. If teen is under 16 years old they MUST take driver E.D. before getting a permit. Once they get permit they are required to possess it for 6 months.
2. What is the difference in a student going to driving school versus parent taught driving program.
With a Professional driving school you are getting a trained instructor to teach the student along with use of car, insurance, fuel, and people who have relationships with Department Public Safety to get problems resolved. Parent taught you get a box with papers and it takes the student and parent to understand the work. Poor customer support if you have problems.
3. Why should I enroll in Drivers’ E.D. program?
Many parents know how to drive, but few know the proper way to teach students the skills to save there lives. There are over 40,000 fatality crashes a year in U.S. Enrolling in a EXCELLENT Driving Program will reduce the chance your child is in vehicle crash. The most dangerous thing a TEEN will ever do is drive a car. Know your instructors!
